Default Account based vs. character based!

Do you think more of the title should be account based especially all of the EoTN reputation based, lightbringer, and sunspear? I think the only thing that shouldn't be account based is mission, exploration, and vanquishing. That's just my thought. It's annoying if you like to play more than 1 character and go through campaigns more than necessary or to the point where your just bored out of your mind.

Doesn't bother me much and I play 6 chars =/

I guess it's annoying for some people, so for them it'd be nice

I'd hate to see the reputation titles go account wide.

The only ones i would like to see go account wide are treasure hunter and wisdom.

Grind is what is keeping a lot of the older people playing. Which is funny as most play GW to get away from true MMO 'grind'.

I would have made titles account based and found some other way for unlocking the NF areas in the early goings. Titles being account specific, especially some of the really repetitive or mind-numbing ones, was specifically why I retired all my characters except for one. I miss the other characters, but it seems almost pointless now to invest time in them and I'm not repeating some of those titles.

Note I use past tense.. its not something I'd go and change now.

You earned it though you know what I mean? It's a really not making them easier because many people are not going to grind norn rank on 6 character.

Grind is, and always will be.
Having to not grind on all of your characters is /win.

And for the record, I am one who despises grind. APART FROM Survivor and LDoA, I /agree to it.

That's your oppinion. Mine is if I already did something how can it possibly be fun redoing something just to get a title?

I am torn about this. If they make it account based it defeats the point of having the reputation quests for multiple characters (i.e. the ones that don't give PVE skills).

As for treasurehunter and wisdom those should be account based.

Actually, this late it does not really matter anymore.

But I prefer the account based ones.

We know how treasure hunting and item id work:
Char X gets a gold drop and puts it in storage for the ITEM ID char to identify.

This is why I always thought making Treasure Hunter and Wisdom account based would be better.

Your still palying though and still earning it whether it's two characters or not. If you say wisdom and not reputation that doesn't make sense. Why is faction account based it should be the same as EoTN.

Like hell I'm going to grind rep and other crap on my 4 other pve characters. Grinding for 1 is already boring enough.

The ACHIEVEMENT titles should be the only ones character based.

That is, those based making separate things one by one, and you will not get more points for making any of those separate things again
Those are:
- Missions.
- Quests.
- Exploration.
- Skill acquisition.
- Vanquish.
Everything else is earned by accumulaing points that can be acquired making the same repetitive thing again and again, and in many cases it doesn't matter the character who is making it, for example:
- HFFF, made with heroes, your profession or character is not important.
- Lightbringer and sunspear. Made with junundu, your profession or character is not important.
- Norn points. Made with ursan, your profession or character is not important.
- Party/Drunkard/Sweet tooth, Lucky/Unucky: Made in outpsots, where your profession and character are not important.
- Wisdom: You can put items in storage and them ID them with any character, your profession and character are not important.

So the rest should be account based. Most people don't try grind titles in more than one character, anyways.

In PvP, all characters share the titles, so you cannot say that profession or character are important when it comes to accumulate points for a grind title.

I want heroes to be account based. At least a default Gear set, so it's easy to jump around to different characters and not have to salvage runes/insignias, and switch weapons. . .
